Treize.

Urban Reality.

A little flower bud
existing in an earth-deprived spot.
They see it almost dying there,
but no one cares.
A child of nature
trapped between cement and pavement
is nothing.

The world has changed.
Pastures to skyscrapers,
green grass to gray gravel.
Pollution tainting the wind,
sapping the liquid realms
of its purity.
Innocence has passed away.
All that is left is
a single breath of air,
a dying dream,
a realized truth,
and a harsher consequence
that will reside in existence
till extinction.
